Adwords Quality Score Changing for Longtail

Longtail Strategies Get a Leg Up

Some of our most popular articles at Distinct SEO are the long-tail and Adwords articles that show folks how to apply some long-tail strategies to PPC campaigns. Thankfully, the Google Adwords folks are changing the quality score, here's the link. So what's so important? Well for all the longtail chasers out there the new rules enable more keywords to become active.
The major key?

Keywords are no longer marked 'inactive for search' -- all keywords are active because they are evaluated for every relevant query

Which means that long tail keywords, just because they may have a 'hot' keyword in the four word term, won't be inactive. That means your 'tail' will be more active, which means more visitors, and of course higher budgets for the extra clicks. There are always pros and cons :P but luckily in this case the con translates to higher sales, we hope.
