Page Load Time Now Part of Google Quality Score?

It is now fact that Google Adwords will give your landing page a lower quality score if it takes forever to load. This was discussed at Webmaster World and Search Engine Watch. My question, when will Google search implement the same test on their trust/quality scores for web pages?


Slow loading web sites now suffer some adverse affects for their heavy web pages or slow servers. Test your web site against the competition with this tool called Pingdom Tools. 1-2 seconds should be average for normal web sites....

    I think this is a good control mechanism to ensure that sites respond quicker to clicks.
